Main feauture of this particular item is that it's installed on a trailer so you can tow this log lathe into woods and turn logs just where they were logged (3 phase, 25KW, 480V generator is required and optional). This configuration is almost ideal for those who wants to process beetle killed pine into fine builing material. You turn infected logs on a field, leaving bark and chips and taking only clean and nice round timber which can be used to build log homes or saw lumber... So isn't it elegant solution to the problem "what to do with infected trees?"
