Usage
This article is not user operational manual however it gives you an overview of how to work on the log lathe

LL-41 is a machine with several big moving parts therefore it maybe hazardous if operated improperly or without following safety rules. Always disconnect the LL-41 from electrical power before to replace or fix machine components. Safety first! An average of 2 days are required to learn basic operations prior to processing logs for assembly. |

| Learn specification of the log which should be produced from a tree trunk | click | no | |
| Install proper size cutter blades on rough and fine cutters or adjust blades presently installed; Set up all stoppers for cutters on proper positions. | no | no | coming soon |
| Load the log: 1. Roll tree trunk onto the frame and set it on log lifting bars 2. Lift the trunk to the level of pikes using hydraulic jacks 3. Fix the trunk on pikes between front and movable back stocks, use adjustable back stock axle to tie the trunk between the pikes |

| Start processing of the trunk by horizontal mill cutter removing allowable width of wood layer from the trunk. Process whole trunk from top to but and vise versa if necessary. |
click | click | Vertical mill cutter can be used simultaneously with horizontal mill cutter to increase productivity and quality. Horizontal mill cuter is able to remove up to 3 inches (7cm). Verical mill cutter finalizes processing of the log surface making it smooth and nice to touch. If necessary to remove more wood to decrease diameter of the output log repeat previous and this steps again. |
| Make longwise groove (cope) by horizontal mill cutter simultaneously you can saw long wise kerf on opposite side of the log . | click | click | |
| If it is necessary using vertical mill cutter make flat side(s) on round log to be appearing as bevel edged log. |
