Log lathes a.k.a. log turning machines

Log moulders a.k.a. log pofilers
Log moulders: RLM-400, RLM-320MF, RLM-320, RLM-280, RLM-240
RLM stands for Rotary Log Mill or Rotary Log Moulder. These machines have 1 rotary type milling cutter head for log rounding and 2 to 5 spindles (depending on a model), which can be used for profiling and some for multi-rip sawing. RLM machines are log through pass type of mills which can process barked raw logs into profiled house logs or timbers in one pass with feeding speed from 3 to 26 ft/min (1-8 m/min). Log notching machine kit NM-1NM-1 is most simplest and economically priced notcher. It is able to
mill 90° as well as "angled" notches. Machine is shipped as a machine kit, owner is
expected to assembling and setup the machine accordingly to
provided assembling manual. |

Log notcher NM-3NM-3 log notcher is stationary heavy duty notcher for 24/7/365 operation. This machine is equipped with two cutter heads milling a raund notch in a log from opposite sites. Log notching machines NM-2, NM-2H, NM-2/400Machines of NM-2 series are stationary heavy duty notchers for 24/7/365 operation. These machines can be supplied with cutter head(s) to mill notches in log with diameters in range from 6 to 12.5" (160-320mm). By special order it can be made to mill notches up to 16" (400mm) in diameter.

Log notcher NM-5NM-5 notcher is similar to NM-1 notching machine. Excepting it can mill notches with diameter in range from 7" to 13¼" (180-340mm). Machine is shipped as a machine kit which requires assembling and setup. Made by special orders only. Please inquire. |

LogWorksDesigner computer softwareLogWorksDesigner 3D log home application for MS Windows helps designers and engineers to create visual images of log or timber structures as well as automatically produce shop drawings for manufacturing and documentation as well as for assembling of log homes. LogWorksDesigner works in 2 modes: "Imperial" (ft, inches) and "Metric" (mm).
